soot filter campaign “Een schonere lucht komt niet uit de hemel vallen” (Cleaner air doesn’t drop from the sky), SITA Recycling Service Netherlands
client: the Netherlands Ministry of Housing, Spatial Planning and the Environment (VROM)
In order to improve the air quality in the Netherlands, the Dutch Ministry of VROM has started a nationwide campaign to urge people and businesses to fit soot filters on their vehicles. The slogan of this offensive is as follows: “Cleaner air doesn’t drop from the sky”. The Ministry has found seven large vehicle fleet owners prepared to act as ambassadors for this campaign, namely: TNT, ANWB (the Netherlands automobile association), Breda Council, Roteb Rotterdam (Rotterdam municipal waste handling company), SITA Recycling Service Nederland, MCB metaal and Van der Luyt Transport. Short films were recorded with these ambassadors that could be viewed on the websites of SenterNovem, the Ministry of VROM and the ambassadors themselves.
