Growth Facility scheme

Research demonstrates that for small to medium sized businesses there are bottlenecks with regard to raising between a few hundred thousand and five million euros in venture capital.
This is the so-called equity gap.
With the Growth Facility scheme, the government supports small to medium sized entrepreneurs in attracting venture capital in the event of fast growth, company takeover and/or foreign expansion. In those three situations the government can act as a 50% guarantor for suchlike loans, so that banks and participation companies can indeed grant the loan.
This film is intended as a prologue for presentations about this subject and shows among other things two cases where the Growth Facility has been helpful.
